Frequently Asked Questions

Ready to enter the Twiinverse? Here is everything you need to know before you play.

The Experience

Is this just for "gamers"? Not at all! While seasoned gamers love our gameplay, our experiences are designed to be intuitive and accessible for everyone. If you can walk and look around, you can play. Our team provides a full briefing and training session before you start so you feel completely confident.

Can we all play together in the same game? Yes! That is the best part of Twiin Reality. Unlike home VR where you play alone, our technology allows up to 4 players to share the same physical and digital space. You will see your friends as avatars, you can hear them through the headset, and you will work together (or compete against each other) in real-time.

Will I run into the walls or my friends? Safety is our top priority. In the game, you will see your friends' avatars exactly where they are standing in real life, so you won’t bump into them. We also utilize a "guardian system" that creates a visible digital grid if you get too close to the edge of the play area. Plus, our Game Masters are always watching to ensure everyone stays safe.

Comfort & Safety

Will I get motion sick? Motion sickness in VR usually happens when your eyes see movement but your body is sitting still. Because Twiin Reality offers Active VR—where you physically walk, turn, and duck to move your character—your inner ear matches what your eyes are seeing. This significantly reduces, and often eliminates, the feeling of motion sickness for most people.

Can I wear my glasses inside the headset? Most standard prescription glasses fit comfortably inside our headsets. However, for the best experience during high-energy games, we recommend wearing contact lenses if you have them, just to prevent any fogging or slipping while you move.

How do you handle hygiene? We take cleanliness very seriously. All headsets, controllers, and contact points are thoroughly sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectant between every single session. We also use specialized facial interfaces that are easy to wipe down and keep sweat-free.

Logistics

What should I wear? Dress for activity! This is Active VR, so you will be on your feet moving around. We recommend comfortable athletic clothing and flat, closed-toe shoes (sneakers are perfect). Avoid high heels, flip-flops, or baggy clothing that might get in the way of your sensors.

Is there an age limit? For our standard leagues and arena experiences, players must be 12 years or older. This ensures that players fit the equipment properly and can safely follow the game instructions. Players under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

How much space do we need? For our mobile events where we come to you, we require a clear, flat, indoor space of at least 20' x 30' to ensure a safe and fun 4-player free-roam experience.
